WATER
The water film was very well-known, it was a widow’s story but in it the status of women was very bad and therefore it was banned!
The Indian-Canadian movie was both directed and written by Deepa Mehta. Screenply of the movie was done by Anurag Kashyap. I shows the life of widows in the aashrams of Varanasi. In Deepa mehta’s element triology this was the last movie. The movie cast had John Abraham, Seema Biswas, Lisa Ray and Sarala Kariyawasam, Waheeda Rehman, Raghuvir Yadav, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Vinay Pathak
